Construction of the Brisbane Common Ground development was completed in May 2012 at a total cost of $49.2 million (funded primarily through the Rudd Govt Nation Building and Jobs Plan Social Housing Initiative, ). It provides 146 units for a 50/50 mix of low-income and formerly homeless people.
