G-9 is one of sectors of Islamabad known as Karachi Company. A construction company from Karachi constructed Government accommodation flats, that's why this sector known as Karachi Company. Like all sectors, it has also 4 sub-sectors, G-9/1, G-9/2, G-9/3 and G-9/4. There is also Central area which is called "G-9 Markaz". G-9 markaz is a shopping hub. It has big malls. All kind of shops are located here. Rates are reasonable as compare to its adjacent Markaz like, F-10, F-7, G-8, G-10 etc.
G-9/2 sector consists of mostly govt. Accommodation. G-9/1, G-9/3 and G-9/4 sectors are consist of private houses.
