I bought a new 2019 Honda Accord from these people...

I bought a new 2019 Honda Accord from these people. Nice car looks good and currently runs well. Got a good deal.

Guess what?

Honda no longer publishes a new car maintenance document showing when scheduled recommended oil changes, etc needs to be done. Instead, their computer will tell you when to change the oil via wireless technology. I can't even tell if anything is wrong & I have nothing to measure against.

Do you trust Honda USA? Better do your due diligence.

AutoNation Honda did not discuss this "change" with me before I bought the car. Their omission. Aw, it's a "my bad", huh? Feels shoddy to me.

Owners.honda.com points me back to the dealer. I expect all of the other car manufacturers in the USA will shortly follow suit.

Maybe our government will help, but don't hold your breath. Good luck to us all.
