We were visiting Milan and looking to eat dinner at Da Martino. We walked up at 7:40PM asking for a table for two and the older man behind the counter waved his hands while walking towards us saying closed, forcing us out of the restaurant. There were people seated at tables, eating, and the man continued to prepare food after we left (which we saw when we walked by again). This place is listed online as late-night food and google maps said this place was open til 10:30PM. But we were turned away and felt that it was maybe because we were English-speaking. Very disappointed!
