I hired Kevin Papa to do perform a business valuation of my husband s company during my divorce. Not only did he completely ruin my case, he had unauthorized discussions with the opposing counsel s business valuation CPA, John Barrett, regarding the appraisal. Kevin Papa said there was minimal appreciation during the marriage, instead of excepting his outcome of the valuation, I decided to hire a nation wide company Marcum LLP. ,Their ethical standards are very high. Marcum LLP, found that my husband s business appreciated 1.3 million during our marriage, which is a far cry from Kevin s findings of 60,000 to 90,000, (during the marriage).
I do not recommend using Kevin Papa to perform a business valuation.
