Unloading and the entrance gate for large cars is located not at the roundabout (it's the main gate), but about 1km away from the roundabout in the direction of Ispra on the right. Entry through the customs office (Dogania).
A very interesting place.

The Joint Research Center in Ispra is the third largest institution of the European Commission after Brussels and Luxembourg.
