If you are interested in both natural and man-made gardens and Sonoran Desert plants, this is one of the best. Many plants are labeled. The variety is extensive - both native and imported. All suited to the climate. Terrific ideas for your own landscape whether small or large. The riparian habitat is amazing (and about 10 degrees cooler than the other areas). Fun metal sculptures throughout, many blending into the setting. A small but nice art center and museum store. There is an outdoor venue for seasonal concerts. The docents are well-informed and friendly. There are free tours, a greenhouse and plant sale area. The restaurant on site is fun but be warned it is often crowded and there can be 30 min waits at busy times. Ample parking, easy to get to off Oracle and Ina Rds.
