My wife and I purchased a brand new 2014 VW Passat TDI from Keffer in January. We absolutely love the car, it's terrific.

The sales staff was awesome, and to be perfectly honest, the car buying experience was as painless as car buying should be.

The service is what lacks significantly for these people. Our car is due for its first 10,000 mile service (its a diesel) and when I called, they asked when I can come by. The problem there is that my wife and I both work full-time and my job requires a significant amount of travel. When I asked them if they pick-up and drop off (not all that uncommon these days, even the local oil change station did this on my wife's old car) you would have thought I was asking for someone's first-born. When I spoke with the service manager, Justin, he informed me that it is a service not offered by any dealership. Its that antiquated thinking that will drive these people out of business. Flow Volkswagen in Winston-Salem (I live in Mooresville, NC) will service this car for us for the next 300,000. They understand customer service and taking care of customers after the sale. Let's be honest, the service is where the money is made in new car sales!
