I recently attended a VSDA event and had a mixed experience. The dances were fun, but some lacked variety. The instructors were knowledgeable, but their teaching style wasn't suitable for everyone. The sense of community was there, but it felt a bit disjointed. Overall, the VSDA (vsda.org.au) has potential, but there is room for improvement in various aspects. With some adjustments, it could become an excellent square dancing association.
