I recently took my mountain bike into the Berkeley store for what I expected to be a minor tune-up. I did not know that it a cracked frame, but Sean McBride and his team in the bike section of Sports Basement spotted the crack and advised that they would pursue a warranty claim with Cannondale on my behalf. At the end of the process, I received a new and upgraded frame (Cannondale covered the frame completely), and a well tuned mt. bike.
The Sports Basement team was diligent in pursuing the warranty claim and they kept me closely advised. This was an excellent customer service experience and I am now a new Sports Basement customer for other outdoor equipment purchases, in addition to my bike needs.
