Biedermann does not back up their products

Purchased a Yule Chime Party Bell from a third-party vendor who purchases product from Biedermann and Sons. The purchase was an impulse nod to childhood memories. When I got home, I opened the product, and it was of very poor quality, and it did not work as advertised. I later found out that this is somewhat standard for this product. The candles had to be lit to determine that it did not work. The third-party vendor would not take a return due to used candles. And Biedermann does not stand behind their product stating, and I quote "Unfortunately, we sell strictly to businesses only, therefore, we are unable to assist you". So, you can be sure that, if a company sells inferior products and won't back them up, then I will be sure to check packaging and avoid their products.
