Staff were all very helpful and friendly and breakfast was great though the menu should be changed daily (breakfast was the same spread for 3 days!). Stayed in room 314 which was really stuffy and we were shifted to room 321 immediately upon checking of the faulty aircon for the 2nd night and 3rd night. The room was still stuffy as well but at least with a bit of wind. Not wanting to shift again, we just stay put as to where we are.

Room 321 did not have a standing lamp inside and thus the room was dim unlike room 314. Requested for one on the day we were transferred in, and was promised that the standing lamp will be placed upon room keeping the following day. But the standing lamp never showed. Standing shower water pressure in the bath tub was terrible as well, water flow was not smooth and bubbles start to foam from hole outside the shower. Toilet bowl water kept flowing as well after flushing, had to pull up the button to stop water flow manually.

Rooms were dimly lit and should have more lights (even with standing lamp). The good thing is the toilet and walkway entrance are brightly lit. Beds and pillows were too soft and we had a back/neck pain after 3 nights stay.

Overall it is not what I expect of what the room standards of Novotel should be. Rooms are dated and need major overhaul, overpriced for the whole experience.
