Our room was reserved by a family member. We arrived to a nasty customer service woman at the front counter who turned us away as we didn't have the original credit card. Literally turned our family with us and two toddlers away. We would have left entirely had we not thought to go back in and push further, turns out they DO have a way to allow check-ins without the original card after all. The woman was so arrogant and nasty she was almost enough to turn us away on our own. The room. Stay away from the 4th floor if you want anything resembling quality. From holes in the curtains, to no duvet cover on the duvet, to flies in the bathroom light, to a bathroom doorknob that's hanging on by a thread, to the Keurig machine that spews out dirt no matter how many times you run water through it. The list goes on. Not impressed. We thought, with all this aside, who cares... There's a pool. We won't be in the room much. But the pool area is disgusting! You're stepping over wads of hair, slime, and dead bugs all over the pool deck and wading through them in the pool. The technician was there cleaning the hot tub and when he gave the okay that he was done, it was still visibly dirty. There were visible wads of hairs floating in it and dirt on the bottom. The only good thing we can say about this whole experience is the front desk person (who fortunately took over for the awful woman we were originally dealing with at check-in) was great! Two stars, solely because of him, it would have been one star otherwise.
