For a whole year I researched and toured schools in the valley -everything from Montessori's and public schools, to charters and academies, when I finally toured Rancho Solano I knew it was the one. Not only was the staff incredibly knowledgeable (a few Montessori directors could not answer even the simplest questions) but the school focuses on a dynamic world view and has an amazing music program. I didn't want my child to only have the "Western" education that some academies promoted, and I didn't want the purely "academic" curriculum that some charter schools stressed. I wanted my daughter to have a well rounded education that would help prepare her for our global economy. Rancho was the perfect fit.

This isn't to say that the school doesn't value academics. My daughter, who is currently in the Pre-K program has already surpassed her cousin who is in Kindergarten in curriculum material. She knows various sight words, letters, and came home recently talking about cubes, spheres, and cylinders!

The staff is incredibly welcoming and works above and beyond for each student. My daughter has a speech/language delay and both her teacher and the principal have not only been flexible with my daughter receiving speech therapy, but also have provided resources and guidance.

I can't say enough good things about this school. We love Rancho Solano and can't wait for my son to Starr attending as well.
