I would like to say that the person that explains the facility does their job of selling the place.
When we showed up we were thinking we would sit down and meet with the therapist to discuss treatment. Instead what we got was met at the door and said I could not go in.
I will say the detox was outstanding for that I am thankful. When it comes to therapy I believe there's a lot of room for improvement. If I called to talk to a therapist I would have to call more than once and sometimes would not hear back.
I feel the patients are treated like prisoners. When someone comes there they are suffering from a disease and are hurting. Granted most are them are there of their own doing but they are still people.
If you try to leave before they say you can go your priveleges are removed. If you ask for your items they took from you it is a nightmare to get it back.
I would never recommend Lakeview Health to anyone based on the way they treat patients. If someone is clearly not advancing let them go. Give them a chance to prove themselves. Not all people are the same. Cookie cutter treatment doesn't always work.
