While sitting around the dinner table, I mentioned that I happened to learn about this place on Yelp and they apparently have Macaron Ice Cream sandwiches. Well, everyone's ears perked right up! And when we realized that it was only ten minutes from the house, we knew we had to go ASAP.

This place is absolutely adorable! And their macarons are bigger than the dime-sized ones I've seen other places, so the $2 price tag almost makes sense. But let's please be serious, the star of the show is obviously the Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches. They offered about seven different flavors, two of which were sold out - Mango and Chocolate. I opted for Nutella, which had one brown macaron and one orange macaron.

Biting into it was beautiful - there was a soft chew to the macaron and the ice cream had the perfect amount of give (it's so annoying when the ice cream is over-frozen and too hard)! I also really enjoyed the flavor - subtle at first, simple and sweet, and finishing with that hazelnutty roundness.
