It does not allow ZERO STARS, so they get 1...the explanation is rather simply. 9 months, 1 interview. Follow ups? None.
Possibly the single worst professional staffing company in the area. They have you come in for an interview, jump through dozens of hoops and courses, make you get "credentialed" then do nothing. Documents that were sent to them 2-3 months prior, and verified through email records, were lost, excused as not being received, or that "we do not have it on record."
You spend more time chasing them around, following up on why the ARE NOT doing anything for you, than doing work. In 9 months, I have had 1 interview. 1! Do they care when I call, email or wonder why they are not working harder? No.
Jennifer K. is the single worst of FMA's staff. She does not return emails. She does not return voicemails. Her "assistant" allegedly leaves her messages, she does not call or email. Jennifer does not care about you or your job status one iota.
If FMA cannot get the hourly rate they want, and from some sources they are very high, they will not apply for you. In the end, you do not get job interviews because it is not in their business interest. They are either asking too much per hour or not working hard enough.
Another issue - they do not ever listen or adapt. When confronted with problems about your experience, they simply harp on these blockades to your success. Instead of finding job alternatives, they say "You do not have 2-3 years experience in this arena...." - Well, find jobs that do not require that level within your job search. I mean, this is job placement 101. FMA fails here.
I could literally post the DOZENS of emails and over 50 calls left for FMA the past 9 months, almost all unreturned or unanswered, but I think you get the point.
No, I would not recommend FMA to anyone, for any job, at any time. For a potential employee with 4 degrees and current clinical certifications, this is just inexcusable.
All FMA does is come up with excuses as to why you cannot get an interview instead of finding a job that suits your resume. I have had more interviews working on my own, minus the excuses, than this company and I am not even familiar with the area.
Their reviews with 3-4 stars must be all "canned" reviews by someone. Again, having worked with six-figure only staffing services and getting interviews and JOBS....FMA is poorly connected, poorly staffed and woefully prepared to get legitimate, good paying jobs.
Would you work for $12 an hour with two Master's degrees? You can make $12.50 now at Burger King. Wow.
