I am assuming these positive reviews are all from employees?? If you wrote a positive review of this course and actually played it, shame on you for feeling obligated to the Nicklaus name (Ok, I admit I felt obligated too, that's why I gave it an extra star). To set the record, I played here today, and actually played quite well, so this is not a disgruntled review after a bad round. I have played a minimum of a dozen Nicklaus designed courses in my day, some famous, some not so famous. But they all had two things in common, they were all amazing and memorable! With a Nicklaus course, you know you are getting a top notch layout, top notch design. This course is anything but. This is not a matter of a new course being a little rough around the edges. This course needs the combination of a ton of work to still be completed, and at least a full year of continuous care and maintenance before it should have been opened. Regardlesss of the unfinished condition, the layout has no character and individual holes are easily forgotten. The layout is scattered, clostrophobic, and at times very unsafe! There are several holes that are just entirely too close to other holes. It's too bad the multi-millions spent on the clubhouse couldn't have been spent on the golf course.
