I called the non-emergency line and was treated without an ounce of respect. (I give them one star for seeing them drive through my neighborhood occasionally and one for answering my call.)
I asked a question about a fire that my neighbor had set on their balcony. It was on the third floor of my building... and set for leisure. After I was interrupted on a call with a duration less than 30 sec., I accepted the phone number of the fire department, said thank you and was literally hung up on. I have NEVER in my life been treated that way over the phone, by ANYONE, let alone someone s whose job description uses the word serve. I am both disgusted and saddened. This is not Flint, Michigan! We have plenty of tax dollars in OP to hire people who can follow the virtues our BV schools instill starting in K... and one of them is respect!
