Part of the Primi Piatti (First Course) menu, Ultimo's Spaghetti Alle Vongole (90K+ IDR) is switched a notch up from what I am used to, which is white wine Vongole. It incorporates a bisque brandy sauce that is quite something - love the flavours with the slight brineyness of the clams & sweetness of the cherry tomatoes & of course, garlic

Would honestly prefer the spaghetti more al dente, but it wasn't too soggy so I guess that's passable. The clams were also a bit small, though they made up for it in quantity. Not a perfect dish but at this price point, it's delicious & enjoyable enough for me to order it again!

I can imagine this as a nice place to bring your date to when the sun has set... I passed by later during actual dinner time & it was packed to the brim. But I went when they opened at 4PM - I was dressed in my singlet & shorts. All good. Wasn't a full house. & casual~
