I do costume design for film and frequently end up with more than I can manage at home. The SCERA has always appreciated my donations, and it makes me feel good to see them worn in various productions. As a non-profit, I can also get a tax deduction, which is so helpful with all the sewing I do on these costumes. Our daughter is an actor and world-class mezzo-soprano who wore many of these over the years.
