This has the absolute-worst customer interface of any organisation I have ever dealt with. Telephone calls are answered with a menu, then cut off due to being 'too busy'. Online death certificates can only be ordered from the 19th century up to 1957. Otherwise you have to write in. Have the exact year of death, name and age at death ready ... there are no online archives to search, even 26 years into the Internet era.
