Went to the Christmas market, and although a lovely setting, I was disappointed by the stalls. Lots of food and drink, but not much in the way of crafts and gifts which I would have expected. That said the grounds and lighting on the house were spectacular once it turned dark. However the parking was a nightmare, with long queues to find space and get the bus up to the house, and a lengthy wait to get out at the end, both for the shuttle bus and once you were in the car, trying to get out of the grounds. I don't think I will be repeating the exercise next year.
