The Kanyon Resort is an experience like no other. I have had the pleasure of staying at many 5 star and 5 diamond hotels all over the world and this resort is truely unique. From the physical product, the resort layout and design, to the very personalized service, this independently run resort would get a 5 star rating by any rating agency. The hotel is literally in the jungle, all you can hear while you're there is the waterfall, the steam, and the wildlife. I was only there for one night but ate Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner at their restaurant, everything was delicious, especially their inhouse made butter. I had asked them for some candles for my girlfriend to have a bath after dinner, and they asked if they could set it up themselves, needless to say when we returned to our room, we were blown away. If I had any disappointment, it was that I didn't stay for a few more nights. You will not be disappointed, I promise you.
