I recently tried a fish and chip shop in Oban and was pleasantly surprised. The fish was deliciously battered and cooked just right. The chips were crispy and tasty. The portion size was adequate. The service at the shop was quick and friendly. I would definitely visit this place again when I'm in Oban.
