Came here for dinner our first night in Bend. My wife ordered the Caesar salad while I tried the dry aged ribeye. The waitress returned a few minutes after ordering and informed us there was no more salmon. My wife begrudgingly ordered the fish and chips instead. I cut into the steak once the food arrived to check the doneness. I had ordered the steak medium. The first few bites were medium rare, closer to rare. Not wanting to cause a scene I continued to eat the steak. It was only after getting to the center of the steak that I found it was beyond rare. I flagged down the waitress who was alarmed at the doneness of the steak and offered to remake it. I declined since I didn't have much of an appetite anymore. I ordered a pretzel instead. The waitress comp'd my beer and (obviously) didn't charge for the steak. Overall, a $5 beer didn't make up for the hellish dining experience. I would've loved to have spoken with a manager but why wife insisted I let it go. Bottom line: do not come here for the food, you will be disappointed.
