I was expecting so much more reading the reviews. Trussle came highly recommended online and I was excited to buy my first property via their pretty website. Unfortunately, I found the website difficult to use and even worse, the advisor I was assigned was extremely unresponsive. In fact, over a month later, I have not received a response to my last email. The advisor had offered me a 2.99% mortgage, but thankfully I had arranged a meeting direct with my bank which secured me a rate of 2.4%. I'm so glad I went direct - the bank were much more responsive direct and when I let Trussle know of this better deal direct I got ghosted by them. I think they take advantage of the fact first time buyers often don't feel comfortable doing things direct with the bank, and Trussle don't bother to make any effort as they have their shiny website (which isn't even very functional) as bait to trap the FTB in so they can make their money.
