I recently came across a fantastic organization called Defending the Early Years. Their website, deyproject.org, is a treasure trove of information for parents and educators looking to provide the best possible start for young children. I was particularly impressed with their research-based articles and reports on play-based learning and developmentally appropriate practices. DEY is doing a great job advocating for child-centered education and raising awareness about the harmful effects of standardized testing on young children.
