This was the absolute worst care that I have ever ...

This was the absolute worst care that I have ever experienced! It was unacceptable and no matter how many times I called for assistance or help, I got the same answer; that they were doing the best they could or we don t have anyone to fill the shifts needed . If I only would have known this ahead of time...I would not have signed up with them and have my Father go through what he had to endure. There were so many times that noone would show up for shifts so my Father would not receive the care or his medication that he needed to keep him comfortable. He would go for hours without his meds because no one showed up and be in pain. If someone did show up, they left early or before their shift was to end again leaving my Father without proper care and meds. The Nurses would not bathe him...every other day I had to ask them to bathe him because he started to smell.
I would never suggest Silverado for any hospice or medical needs. As far as my family is concerned they were insensitive and cruel for the way that he was treated his last days on this earth. The only thing I know for sure is that I am thankful that he doesn t have to endure Silverado care anymore!
