This company does not value their residents or their employees. I have witnessed this company raise rent significantly during a pandemic where millions of people were suffering financially. If you cannot stretch your rent increase, please do not think they will care. At the end of the day, all that matters to McKinney Properties is the dollar sign. You should look up property reviews that they currently manage/own, it is extremely telling how poorly they manage.
The turn in staff is actually astonishing. I've never seen so many people leave a company and sometimes only a month after getting hired. Sure, some people didnt work out for reasons that were legitimate but a lot of employees left disgruntled due to the way they were treated by McKinney. The higher ups will not give anybody outside of corporate the time of day. You do the job for them and they get the money, that's all that matters. Work every single day in a pandemic and risk your health/loved ones health, dont expect a personal thank you from McKinney's president or CEO. Instead of a thank you or job well done during a terrifying time for our country, just expect maybe a chocolate bar and a typed thank you card. Instead of hazard pay, which we were qualified for but they never completed for their employees, we were told we 'were lucky to have a job'. It is such a shame how this company treats people. Dont ever expect to move up either- they will ALWAYS find a reason to keep you in your position and hire some bimbo from the outside.
