I'm from Ohio, go to school in California, and haven't experienced a more north dish than an elk burger (other than true Alaskan salmon of course).

My roommate, his girlfriend, and I ordered fish and chips, an elk burger, and a salmon dish. The salmon is cooked to the equivalent of a really fatty salmon from a NYC sushi place (which is amazing).

The view of the brew operation from the bar is awesome, and the interior design is nice. The service is awesome, and it's a damn good choice for dinner around Bend.
