Why is it that these people can rip off the taxpay...

Why is it that these people can rip off the taxpayers and walk away smiling without any appearance of remorse? They just know that they can get by with doing whatever they want and their pals will protect them. It's really pathetic that those feeding on the public trough can stick it to us and laugh in our faces knowing there is nothing we can do about it.
