Sold me a truck with a faulty wiring harness (2014 Toyota Tundra) drove it all the way across the country replacing the battery twice. Once I arrived in Arizona I took the vehicle to a Toyota dealership there and had them go through the truck to find the issue. When the process began I contacted Savannah Toyota to explain this issue and see if they would rectify the situation because I only owned the vehicle for 45 days. Service department pointed finger at the Sales Department, and vice versa. Finally after two weeks of waiting on the dealership to stop pointing fingers back and forth I received a call from the Service Manager. He proceeded to tell me while on the phone the truck should have never been sold to me with the issue, then he proceeds to say If the truck were still in Savannah his service team would have repaired the issue for free which lead me to believe they were going to pay for the 600.00 in repairs and compensate me for the two batteries that the issue fried. Unfortunately that didn t happen I was told I would only receive half compensation for the repairs and no compensation for the batteries that I replaced in the vehicle due to the wiring problems. Needless to say I am still here astonished that the Service Manager was willing to tell me the truck should have never been sold to me with the issue and they would have repaired it for free if it were in Georgia still but he was not willing to compensate me for the full repairs. I fully understand when you purchase a used vehicle sometimes you have to expect issues but I did not expect a issue of this nature to slip past a Toyota dealership especially when the issue was documented on the records of the trucks history. Savannah Toyota I am not impressed with your Sales department nor your Service department, and never will I again recommend your dealership to anyone. It s truly a shame such a reputable dealership failed to take responsibility for their mistake.
