I started at CC in 1948 when it was still adjacent to Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. I was in the first class to be graduated from the new location on Wyoming, still in Detroit. That was a different time and space. It was so wonderful that I joined The Congregation right after high school . . . lasted about three months. Graduated from U of D, made my way through life, and now, at age 82, have just relocated from Oakland CA to Williamsburg VA.

When I got down to that parent who said his son had been touched by a "Mr. Brown", I recognized a parent whose son has him by the short hairs, as they say.
