In general I am beyond grateful that the VA medical system exists. I have been a patient at 5 different centers. Each one has had compassionate, hardworking, and talented staff. By far the SF VA is a stand out place. I am treated like family from the moment I drive into the parking garage...to emergency care...standard appointments...and specialized care. My life is better because of everything they do. I m not sure where I would be without the help of the VA health system.
