The 105-carat Kohinoor diamond, which sits in the Tower of London, was once the largest diamond in the world, mined at Kollur Mine in the present state of Andhra Pradesh in India. It has been at the heart of a bitter row between India and Britain ever since it was taken from the Punjab and presented to Queen Victoria in 1849. The crown jewels clearly the main attraction but the Armoury exhibit, the royal chapel and the royal mint exhibits are also very good. You should go, along with a tour of tower bridge. This place is an incredible experience of the history of the castle and are entertaining as well. Plan to spend a half day at least to be able to see everything you can. This is an incredible piece of history that should not be missed. Great experience and actually worth the entry fee. I'd recommend visitors to try it.
