Our summer vacation this year took us spontaneously to this campsite in North Holland, and we mainly followed the reviews. The campsite is beautifully located directly behind the dunes, it is only 20 minutes to the sea. The dune landscape itself is very beautiful. However, the legacies of the dogs are already noticeable, as some of them are not removed by the owner. Impossible!
The parking spaces are closely lined up. With our folding caravan we only had space across on F1, which was ok because everything else was occupied.
The campsite is quiet, children's entertainment is also offered, but could be a little more, was not interesting for our children (8 and 10). Some areas of the campsite are totally neglected, here the green is wild. There are sandboxes in some places ...
The sanitary facilities were mostly clean, even when fully occupied. The lighting in the toilets and showers should really be changed. Sometimes it is very weakly lit!
There is no draining rack at the sink areas, everything is very old. Washing machines and dryers are available in the wash house. Brands can be purchased. We found the price high, but we have no way of comparing it to other places because we didn't have to wash there yet.
Supermarket is very expensive, but fresh bread rolls are available in the morning.
All in all the CP is ok, but there are better ones.
