This department has the worst of the worst working...
This department has the worst of the worst working there. Behavioral Hospital Discharge was 3 MONTHS AGO, and they still have my special needs' child in the computer as "In Facility." This affects billing for all our autism therapies and medical appointments. I have called Carewise at least 20 times! I have called the insurance company at least 40 times! I have called the hospital who discharged him a dozen times! Every person puts me on hold, transfers me to two or three other people, and then points the finger to the other department. I have been on the phone for 2 to 4 hours everyday, trying to resolve this. Everyday I am given a different story, they are waiting for paperwork from the hospital, the hospital did not call them back, the computer just hasn't updated yet. No one takes responsibility. Carewise should have called the hospital and the insurance co themselves, but instead have been giving me messages to tell the other departments. I think they just make up stories to get me off the phone. Then, after I've spent hours on the phone with the other department, Carewise LIES and tells them they did not give me those messages. I hope whoever is at fault in this department is FIRED, as they should be. I talked to Michelle today, who has an attitude and was not helpful, despite me telling her this has to be resolved before January 3rd. Not my rule, but me and my kid are the ones to suffer, if Carewise does not meet this deadline. I am contacting my attorney, the ombudsman, the state representative, and the governor. You will not get away with this. It is not my job to supervise you people. You have taken up too much of my time that should be spent with my special needs' child.
