Dropped off vehicle at scheduled appointment time ...

Dropped off vehicle at scheduled appointment time 11:45 am on Tuesday 20th November for repair to the passenger seat lumbar support motor system. I called on Wednesday afternoon to check on the status of the repair having had no call from Classic I was informed that the work had not yet been started and as it was Thanksgiving the following day it would be Friday before the vehicle would be worked on. The repair was completed by Friday afternoon.
It would appear that the service scheduling department is committing to more repair work than the service technicians are able to handle and then they omit to follow up on the progress of the repair and advise the customer of any unforeseen delays.
