Perhaps the best room in the Netherlands with all kinds of classical music. Even better than the pressure vessel of the Concertgebouw, because here you can play as hard as you want. That Amsterdam building is sometimes overflowing with sound pressure and you can no longer see where the orchestra is located, does not bother you in Enschede!
With the 3rd Symphony by Saint Seans I have the serious feeling for the 2nd time that both in the lyrical soft 2nd part and also the exuberant 4 part (with organ) the concert hall for this music is made. I venture into it, but this is really better in terms of acoustics than the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam!
