The Depot is the place to eat if you are a Train enthusiast . You will feel the patio shake as a Amtrak train, hurtles by 20 feet from your table.

The food is good, I had a Buffalo Calamari salad, that surprisingly wasn't overly hot. The salad greens that you get, temper any heat.

I also had a Bacon Barbeque Burger, with slices of real Bacon. It was cooked to order, and I'd get it again.

I had a bowl of New England Clam Chowder that had a good deal of Bacon in it.

Also interesting is the fact that The Depot is Dog Friendly for the outside patio.

One side note for warm weather, the restaurant does not have air conditioning :-( $$$

Also on the weekends it is very busy, and the college kids that are hired as wait staff can become overwhelmed, and service can be spotty / and or rude at best. Also the "Know it All staff", refuses to write down your order, and you will have only part of a meal delivered to your table. This has happened to me MORE THAN ONCE. Sadly there isn't s permanent, professional wait staff here...
