The lady who showed me the place asked the breed of my dog and i told her and showed her a picture and she said that should be absolutely fine. Then our application was denied because they considered my dog a pitbull (shes an American Staffordshire terrier mix not american pit bull terrier). That was fine but i called back to ask if they would consider her if I have dog liability insurance and a different lady answered and said that is up to the landlord and said she would ask the landlord. I was at work when they called me back but when i returned their call the other lady didnt even know what i was being called about and then immediately said the landlord said no. And when i asked if there were any other places that were dog friendly available that she could ask the landlord and she said that isnt the question you asked so no and then she transferred me to someone else without even telling me she was going to and that lady didnt know what the situation was at all either and just told me that candlewood s policy doesnt allow my dog and i told her that another lady told me it was dependent on what the landlord allowed and she just said that was their policy and when i asked her to give me the list of restricted breeds she was very obviously lying because she told me pitbulls were allowed but Staffordshire terriers were not.... overall they were very rude and none of their employees actually know their policies and they wasted a huge amount of my time and who knows if they are actually going to refund our application fee like they said they would. Plus their online application was very confusing and for the eSignature they won t let u submit until u attach a document but it never said what document they wanted, we had to call and ask for them to tell us they want a picture of our paystubs and by the time we figured that out the application was expired because it was incomplete for 48 hours. Don t rent from them, its stress and unprofessional people and a complete waste of time and money
