I have been a PAYING Customer at DeerField Pharmac...

I have been a PAYING Customer at DeerField Pharmacy for over 4 years. I don't know what has changed over the past couple of months. A once Friendly and Accommodating staff has become Judgmental of their Customers...and a little Self Righteous. Not everyone that needs Antibiotics have a Sexually Transmitted Disease..Not everyone that needs Painkillers are Drug Addicts. Nor do we count the days between refills. Don't try and embarrass a CUSTOMER by calling them out in front of other customers and staff."You just had a script filled 14 days ago"...when it's actually been 22 days..and I just left my Doctors office and THE DOCTOR wrote a NEW script. If DEERFIELD has a problem filling a script..CALL THE DOCTOR THAT WROTE THE SCRIPT !! Boone Drug is NOT the only Pharmacy in Boone, yet, They treat their customers as if They are doing the CUSTOMER a FAVOR ..NO...its not a FAVOR..Boone Drug is being PAID to perform a SERVICE for a CUSTOMER.
After being cut off in Mid-Sentence,TWICE, on two different visits, explaining to their Staff, " I can't take XXX medicine made by ZZZ Pharmaceutical "...and being told by Staff.." We have that information on file !"...OK...you have it on file, I will not BOTHER you with this info again ..Well, today I have my script filled...it's the "wrong" prescription. I ask for the correct script and get an EARFUL of how "it's my responsibility" to notify Staff of my Med-Allergies...and Do I realize that they had to take extra time to fill the Script a second time ! ...uh..OK...I tried telling you the last two visits...and was told..WE HAVE THAT INFO ON FILE ! GEEZZZZ!! Make up your mind...Is it the Prescription you don't like...or the customer in Bib Overalls and work boots??
I guess DEERFIELD has become Judge and Jury...and those "Ole Dumb" Doctors across the road don't know what they are doing or what Medicines they are Prescribing..How often they Prescribe them.?? I will not allow DeerField to do me any more FAVORS...I'll take my BUSINESS to someone that appreciates it.
When any Pharmacy has a question about the Meds Prescribe by a Doctor...CALL THAT DOCTOR !! If you have something to say to a Customer, show a little respect, and pull the customer off to the side and Talk privately. Maybe in Florida its appropriate to LOUD MOUTH and show off, but around here we show a bit of respect. If you dont want to Fill CERTAIN Medications...then DONT ! Put a sign up...WE DONT FILL "this" DRUG PRESCRIPTION. If you have decided that ALL people taking "XXX" prescription are BAD PEOPLE...then you are in the wrong business. Not only do you insult your CUSTOMER, but you insult the Doctors writing the Scripts. I think you need to take a step back, take a deep breath, count to ten. Are you really that much "better" than your customers...better than the Doctors, that write the Scripts, that you fill, that PAYS YOUR BILLS ??
#NOTE# my "wrong" script was due to the Pharmaceutical Manufacture. Different Pharmaceuticals make the same Drug...I can only take XXX drug made by YYY Pharmaceutical. If made by ZZZ Pharmaceutical, I get severe headaches. At no time was I given the WRONG drug...DeerField filled the Script with the CORRECT drug... It was just made by the Pharmaceutical, (ZZZ), that causes me severe headaches.
You try and support LOCAL Business over the BIG BOYS...and this is what ya get...Very Disappointing.
