We missed the cancellation date by less than 10 da...

We missed the cancellation date by less than 10 days. They auto-renewed us for a year + 1 month. When we requested leniency due to vacation, they responded that we could have cancelled before we left. We offered to pay 1 month to cancel, that wasn't good enough. We will now be sent to collections because we are unwilling to pay for an additional year. BEWARE their contract, and uncaring management.
