Had dinner at Avartana and it is not an exaggeration to say that I haven't had one like that before, and doubt I'll have something like this again. Truly made me realise the artistry that is in food. I'm south indian but have never seen the ingredients and techniques of South Indian cooking being wielded in such a masterful way. Of course, the decor, service, crockery, presentation matched the exceptional food. Bravo!
