Just got through replacing the pads and rotors on ...

Just got through replacing the pads and rotors on the rear of my 2000 SL500. The left rear brake pad (outside) wore completely away and the metal brake pad badly scored the rotor. The right brake pads were a little more than half used as was indicated at 43,023 miles when the front pads were replaced. The sad part is the sensor that indicates when the pads are worn out is on the right side. Investigation into the operation of the right caliper showed it was barely engaging. Further investigation revealed that there was QUITE a bit of air in the right rear brake line. The brake fluid was replaced by Astorg as per their "B" service at 51,936 miles. The car has got 106998 miles now. Rather sad that the brakes weren't properly bled at 51936 miles. Hence, one star and I will never use another Mercedes Benz dealer for repairs. The car goes on the block first.
