I have had the pleasure of coming to Cape May for years, My most recent stay was here at the Ocean Club. I booked this trip last minute due to my other plans being canceled and my favorite hotel in cape may not having rooms, so i decided to try here.First off i would like to comment on that no one from the front desk ever greeted us during our stay, and i found that quite strange and rude. The beach service was a plus but they don't tell you on the site that an umbrella for the beach is and extra $10 dollars each day but the chairs and towels are free. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and their beach services include everything no extra charge.I have to say that Niall the man who sets up the chairs came and shook our hands every day and chatted with us, he was the only person on the staff who friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the cleaning service was fast( done within the hour we went to breakfast). I can't comment on the restaurant because i didn't eat inside but i did order lunch from the beach service and it was fine. the elevators are on the slower side so we used the stairs everyday( we stayed on the 5th floor) I Have stayed at some great places in Cape May but i was honestly disappointed with my stay here and i don't think i will be returning.
