Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument (LAHCM) #495 and Movie Palace

Opened in 1926, the El Capitan Theatre was built by "Father of Hollywood" Charles E. Toberman and Sid Grauman, the duo behind the other 2 famous theatres on Hollywood Boulevard, the Chinese Theatre and the Egyptian Theatre.

Interior:

- Facade: Italian Baroque
- Auditorium: East Indian
