I had a mixed experience with the Asatru Folk Assembly. While some aspects of their organization were commendable, others left me feeling disappointed. The website, runestone.org, provided a wealth of information about their beliefs and practices, which was helpful in understanding their mission. However, I found their exclusivity troubling. The AFA's focus on ancestral heritage seemed to exclude those who may have been interested in learning more about Norse spirituality without having direct lineage. This limited perspective hampers their ability to reach a wider audience and foster understanding among different communities. Overall, I would rate my experience with the Asatru Folk Assembly as average.
