All very pleasant as usual. However there was one issue this time, but finally it was sorted

I booked an Horizon Club room but i was allocated a standard double on lower floor, no amenities, etc. I complained via email to all the address i had of the hotel/customer service and finally the second day i got duty manager to send excuses and was upgraded to a Valley Wing room, which was much appreciated and compensated for the first night in a lower category room. Big question is: how is ti possible that front desk staff despite my remarks still told me "sorry that's all that we have available"! I booked well in advance and you do not downgrade a guest if you have an issue but you upgrade him! basic lesson for front staff.

I appreciate the new entrance to the Gym, it is way better to access changing room instead of gym directly, But... when will you upgrade the whole gym and spa? Steam room, sauna, whirpool all veeeery old. You have big area at disposal: ask a competent architect to review the area and you will have the best spa in Singapore (competition in this area is very poor in Singapore: very few nice relaxation areas in Singapore hotel so you can benefit greatly with new saunas, steam baths, super whirlpool, jets, etc. Stressed out international travelers will love it

Also, the inside whir-pool is way too hot!! Impossible to bath!! And even if you manage to finally enter you do not resist for more than literally 2 minutes.
And the outside whirpool is ridiculous: no power at all! Change them both!

Yoga classes in the garden a very nice touch and teacher very good. But why 2 classes only across the whole week??? Other shangri la hotels have more classes. Have more classes of yoga with the French teacher: she is super good and training in the garden a wonderful experience you should value more to offer. Its just so cheap for you to just pay a few more hours to her and you will offer a great service to us.

I will be back in February to check the improvement! I am about to make new booking with you because of course a part from the criticism it is my favorite hotel in Singapore, and i am an expert about hotels ;-)
